No child should learn on an empty stomach.

How it works
The Fuelling The Future program provides schools with snack packs containing nutritious, non-perishable foods approved by an accredited practicing dietitian. Schools can distribute these packs to students who come to school without sufficient food.
Snack Pack Contents
FRUIT CUP
A convenient and vitamin-packed snack offering natural sweetness with no need for refrigeration. It provides fibre for healthy digestion and a variety of essential micronutrients to support immune function and overall well-being.
SAVOURY BISCUITS
Provides a good source of carbohydrates, which supports sustained energy throughout the school day. They also contain fibre, which aids healthy digestion and helps keep kids feeling full for longer.
FLAVOURED MILK
A rich source of dairy that provides essential calcium for strong bones and teeth, protein for muscle growth and repair, and fluid for hydration. The flavoured variety ensures better acceptance among children, making it a tasty and nutritious option.
Non-perishible items have been selected so that the packs can be stored by the school and used as required. Allergies have been considered and alternative snacks can be provided to accommodate special dietary needs.

Dietitian Statement:
‘These foods have been chosen as they contribute important nutrients and enjoyment to support a childs energy needs. The pack is not intended as a substitute for regular meals or more nutritious, fresh snacks; rather an option to provide food intake when a child would otherwise go without.’
